A 1920s bungalow that had sat vacant for two years. We kept the original porch line and window proportions, then rebuilt everything behind them: new roof, new systems, opened floor plan, and a rear primary suite that reads like it was always there.

Dark, choppy and dated. The brick got a limewash, the roofline picked up a new gable over the entry, and interior walls came down to create one continuous living, dining and kitchen space for how families actually live now.

Two walls, a soffit and a peninsula came out. What replaced them: a waterfall quartz island that seats four, white oak floors carried through, and brass and glass details that photograph beautifully for the listing.

The original 1970s bath was the reason buyers walked. We reworked the plumbing layout to fit a freestanding tub and a glass walk-in shower, then kept the palette calm so it feels like a hotel, not a trend.
